part one: my favorite spots in the Village of West Greenville

As the sun shines brighter and the days grow longer, it feels as though the grip of winter is finally loosening its hold. While I've always cherished the snug embrace of fall and winter, there's an undeniable thrill in feeling the warmth on my skin and the renewed energy that comes with longer daylight hours!

With this in mind, I'm delighted to share some of my most cherished places in Greenville. This first installment will focus on the gems nestled within our charming neighborhood, while the second part will venture into the broader parts of the Upstate. Whether you're seeking validation for your impeccable tastes or seeking fresh inspiration for your next adventure, I hope this serves as a delightful guide for your upcoming outings.

Coffee

The Village Grind

A dreamy coffee shop right down the road from us. I love bringing my reusable cup on Mondays and getting a little treat before walking the 0.1 miles back to open the shop.

A Quick(ish) Bite

Comal 864

Mexican food is honestly my favorite cuisine! My go-to order at Comal is the burrito bowl but honestly everything we've tried so far has been sooo good!

Kuka Juice

A juice bar with lots of fresh, healthy options like smoothies, soups and salads. Honestly, my favorite lunch spot in the Village.

Shopping

My favorite independently owned shops near us!

Savereign - plants + more

Page & Post - stationary + gifts

Era Vintage - vintage clothing + home goods

Revival Butchery (hi neighbor!) - local meats + grocery items

Naked Pasta - handmade pasta

Happy Hour Drinks

The Rabbit Hole

A cool spot with Alice In Wonderland vibes, good drinks and a great happy hour (or High Tea as they call it) from 5-7pm.

Woodside Bistro

Located inside of Woodside Mill, Woodside Bistro serves up tasty dishes and drinks with a cozy vibe. This is my mom's favorite spot because they always have something new and fresh on the menu.

Bar Margaret

A cute and colorful spot on the corner of Pendleton and Traction Street. If you're feeling "elevated bar food", this is a must stop spot.

Carolina Bauernhaus

Carolina Bauernhaus is a vibrant brewery known for its inventive farmhouse-style ales and lively taproom ambiance. Plus there's plenty of space for kids and dogs to hang out!
